cross-roads
Meeting grief and loss, condition and diagnosis, transition and change together.
Loss takes us by surprise, unfolding and unraveling, unyielding in its eternity and incapacity to evolve move forward, to conceive resolve or change. It twists and turns, moves forward and back, we come in and out of this, and over time, gently, we find a new way, a greater understanding into ourselves, into other and discover anew our experience of being.
We each experience grief in ways unique to us, often grief feels incomprehensible. Sometimes, we feel isolated or alone, a burden to others, have the desire to retreat or hide. Whether grieving for a change in physical health, transition, relationship or loss, we attend and meet what presents. Body-centred sessions support those going through transitional periods of any kind.
Service Description:
In the session, we hold, attend, and attune to a change in course, direction, chronic condition, cancer, injury, grief, loss, death and dying. We work within the containers of body-centred therapy, intuitive listening and attunement as is appropriate to the situation; we meet the situation and walk alongside our experience of what presents.
Benefits: Witness and multilevel attendance to suffering in a held environment for self. An opportunity to feel into that space in between and access knowledge, vision, understanding and be heard in grief and loss.
Duration: 60 minute session
More: Transition is the essence of aliveness. Difficulty is present with each transition. The strangeness of self I no longer recognize and the aptitude to acknowledge the suffering or loss of what was, and attend and be fully present with that which is newly present.
Every transition and change is a greater or lesser death and chaos of sorts, with some kind of application to the greater knowing, one that exists outside of now, is multifaceted, multidimensional.
There is meaning in suffering. We are responsible to one another.
