Terri Storey

RMT, Manual Therapist

Terri is a registered massage therapist who engages with pain, posture, injury, and trauma, meeting layers of experience and perception specific to that individual.

Massage attends pain (acute/chronic), trauma/anxiety/sleep, accident/injury (head injury/fall), surgery (pre and post operative), condition, posture, curiosity and inquiry.

Massage Therapy meets the whole self.

A massage therapy session with Terri includes manual therapy using a listen-and-follow approach that honours all that presents in that moment for the individual. Terri’s techniques have been refined through a daily routine of anatomical study, embodiment practices, and extensive continued study of visceral, neural, and vascular manual therapy with Jean Pierre Barral.

Physical health and posture are inextricably attuned to the emotional and spiritual; healing is about welcoming all that information into the room. In this work, the intention is integration by getting curious about and witnessing holding patterns. Through observation and insight, we are able to reframe perception, accident, injury, and traumatic experience.

Graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, with continued studies in manual therapy through Barral and Upledger Institute, and influenced by ongoing studies in Anatomy and embodied practices.

Direct billing available for Blue Cross, Medavie blue cross Telus health, Manulife, Canada Life and MSP
